So we got back from Spain on Friday. It's very nice to be home- while I know I was lucky to be in Spain, and I did learn a lot and have good experiences, the trip overall was not a great one and I'm sorta glad it's over. Hey, so it's been a while since I posted- since before the Sevilla trip, I think? Well, that one went well, even though it was tiring- Sevilla's about three hours from Granada by bus. So it's been a while since the last time I posted. Things have been... fairly routine since the last time. Classes are going pretty well- grammar and POE are great, and I'm learning a lot. Translation's also very informative, if a bit tedious at times. Islamic Culture and Sociopolitical Events are the more boring of the five, but you can't be lucky ( Read more... )

So things are going pretty well. I did end up going to the cathedral and Capillo Real a few days ago, and it ended up being a lot of fun- I understood everything the guide said and I even got to translate for one of the other students cause he's at level 0 in Spanish.
